New to Sparkle this year will be the Sparkle TG awards 2008, in association with TV Repartee magazine and hosted by Chelsea Darling. This is your chance to vote for your favourite club, support group, web site, etc. There are six categories and the winners will be determined by public vote and announced on the Saturday night of Sparkle. Frances and the Frantastics

Musically, Frances ' style is best described as acoustic new folk / soft rock; stacking up lush rich vocal harmonies, with guitars, piano and strings. Her songs are joyous, passionate and sometimes reflective. She has never felt the need to fit in or seek the approval of others, she just does her own thing …and some gritty rock ‘n' roll too!
The 90's were spent writing music for corporate videos, jingles, doing radio and gigging. It was during this time she was introduced to Art Garfunkel, Donavan, John Denver and Paul Williams, jamming with them whenever they were in town.

Sam is a multi instrumentalist, classically trained at the Royal College of Music and has been writing / producing music for some 10 years.
She's just finished working on the forthcoming Patrick and Eugene album, playing ukulele, due to be released in Spring 2008. She has writing credits on 6 of the 12 tracks and features on just about every track on the album. See Tummy Touch Records for more info on the release. Samantha also featured on the previous Patrick and Eugene album ' A Postcard from summer isle .'

Andrew, a versatile musician, has played with the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dr John, Olympia Brass Band, the late great George Melly, Chris Barber, Acker Bilk and many leading R&B musicians; as well as with Fats Domino's band. Andrew's own band has featured at the prestigious New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for three decades.
With a reputation built on lively performances in residency and on tour, he's gone on to perform in several Hollywood blockbusters. His movie credits include Clint Eastwood's Tightrope, JFK with Kevin Costner and working with Sean Penn in All the King's Men.
