Sparkle is a fully voluntary, unfunded charity dedicated to supporting the gender diverse community, and we rely on the kindness and generosity of people like you to continue our vital work. As we move into 2025, we’re facing greater challenges than ever, but with your support, we can continue making a huge difference in the lives of countless people.

When Sparkle was first established, our goal was simple: to provide a free, inclusive event where the trans and gender diverse community could come together, celebrate, and feel safe. This remains at the heart of our mission. However, in today’s tough economic and political climate, providing this vital event is becoming increasingly difficult. We want to ensure that the Sparkle Weekend 2025 remains free and open to everyone, no matter their financial situation.
However, we predict that the cost of hosting this life-changingevent will be around £14.40 per person.

Donations are never mandatory, but if you are able to contribute, even a small amount, it can go a long way in helping us keep Sparkle Weekend a welcoming and inclusive event for all. Your generous donations help us cover essential costs like venue hire, catering, and accessibility services – ensuring that Sparkle Weekend remains as accessible
and impactful as ever.
