Through this partnership, we’ve not only raised awareness of gender diversity but also actively contributed to building a more inclusive and supportive space for the trans and gender-diverse community to thrive in their creativity and passions.

 

In a joint commitment to visibility, creativity and employability we have made a significant impact in the Greater Manchester area. These Markets reach far beyond just events, MQAM offers invaluable opportunities for small businesses to thrive, providing market traders a platform to showcase products that represent the community.

 

This is a vital space for community members to purchase goods that reflect their identities, empowering them to express themselves with pride and powerful connections of joy and positivity.

 

It also gives our allies the chance to visibly support the LGBTQIA+ community by purchasing unique and meaningful gender-diverse merchandise. Notable traders, such as LazyPins (aka The Placard People), Ben Saunders, Can does Art, TransRebel Cowboy, Queer and Cute, AJ Lens and Many Many More brought their incredible products to the market, further enriching the experience in 2024. 

 

We’re thrilled to see these regular markets grow and contribute to the continued success of small businesses, further strengthening our community.

 

In addition to this, we’re excited to share that we’ve been able to support Manchester Queer Art Market by lending them tables and supporting with finances and equipment to ensure their success for years to come.
